Editorial Commentary: Hip–Spine Syndrome: When the Hip Does Not Move, the Spine Labors Double
نویسندگان
چکیده
When the hip does not move, spine labors double. For example, limited extension results in lumbar hyperextension and an increase spinal facet joint loading due to premature coupling. Patients who undergo surgery show significant improvement concomitant lower back problems, symptomatic low pain resolves approximately 80% of patients after total arthroplasty. impairment range motion (limitation or asymmetry) is identified, a logical relationship pathology should be explored, treatment options may include interventions that improve motion.

The hip-spine syndrome: how does back pain impact the indications and outcomes of hip arthroscopy?
PURPOSE Many patients presenting with hip disease also have coexisting lumbar spine disease (LSD). At present there is a paucity of literature examining the effect of arthroscopic hip surgery in patients with coexisting LSD. The purpose of this systematic review was to examine the relationship between the hip and lumbar spine to determine whether low back pain impacts the indications and outcom...
متن کاملVisual impressions of interactions between objects when the causal object does not move.
Stimuli were presented that consisted of a stationary row of black-bordered white rectangles. As observers watched, each rectangle in turn from left to right changed from white to black. The final rectangle did not change colour but moved off from left to right. The sequential colour change suggested motion from left to right, and observers reliably reported a visual impression that this illuso...
متن کاملThe Y-triangle Move Does Not Preserve Intrinsic Knottedness
We answer the question “Does the Y-triangle move preserve intrinsic knottedness?” in the negative by giving an example of a graph that is obtained from the intrinsically knotted graph K7 by triangle-Y and Y-triangle moves but is not intrinsically knotted.
متن کاملWhen the extension property does not hold
A complete extension theorem for linear codes over a module alphabet and the symmetrized weight composition is proved. It is shown that an extension property with respect to arbitrary weight function does not hold for module alphabets with a noncyclic socle.
